Emily Benaron

Emily offers a trauma-informed blend of yoga, somatic mindfulness, and self-compassion in movement, meditation, and self-exploration practices. She guides students to help deepen their awareness and understanding of the inner workings of their body, mind, and heart. Her students and clients gain valuable insights into compassionate care, gratitude, and expansiveness while aligning their unique intentions with inner resources for health and well-being. Emily's experience includes:

  • Graduate of the 2018 Mindful Heart Programs Facilitator Training Course

  • Certified yoga therapist focusing on individual needs and safe progression toward mobility and strength

  • Registered yoga tinstructor with over 20 years of teaching experience

  • Pre-licensed marriage and family therapist 

  • Extensive training in somatic interventions, including EMDR
