Experiential Meditation in Recovery: Another Way of Learning How to Love
November 15-17, 2019 Mt. Calvary Monastery : Santa Barbara, CA
In this Weekend retreat for people in recovery, which includes AA, NA, Al-Anon, ACA and their friends, we will teach meditation and prayer from a Mindfulness and a Contemplative Christian approach. Coming from many perspectives, we will talk about surrender, love and compassion. Together we will strengthen our foundation and refuge in our spiritual practice so we can live a healthy, connected and inspired life. We will present both traditional practices and their modern heart-felt adaptations. The retreat will include silent meditation sits, guided meditations, walking meditations, individual coaching, dharma talks, Q&A, and groups discussions.
